But it definately seems like it will benefit mankind.
If you could only replace a piece of your brain with a computer chip, we wouldn't have anyone deaf, blind, or handicapped. Knowing that these kind of procedures are in the works definately makes you feel a lot more secure. But we should still take care, and not put ourself at risk, nonetheless.
